Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates -No restriction. Other Backward Classes - 7 attempts. Age limit for UPSC examination is:- - For general category minimum 21 years to maximum 30 years. - For OBC category minimum 21 years to maximum 33 years. - For SC/ST category minimum 21 years to maximum 35 years. Education qualification: The candidate must possess a bachelor's degree from any recognized university. Those in the final year of a degree course can also eligible.
