The ATMA at district level would be increasingly responsible for all the technology dissemination activities at the district level. It would have linkage with all the line departments, research organizations, non-governmental organizations and agencies associated with agricultural development in the district.

Research and Extension units inside the project districts such as ZRS or substations. KVKs and the key line Departments of Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, Horticulture and Fisheries etc. would become constituent members of ATMA.

Points and Objectives:

The points and destinations for which the ATMA is framed are:

1. To recognize area particular needs of cultivating group for cultivating framework based farming improvement;

2. To set up needs for supportable rural improvement with a Farming Systems Approach;

3. To draw gets ready for generation based framework exercises to be embraced by agriculturists/extreme clients;

4. To execute plans through line offices, preparing establishments, NGOs, agriculturists associations and unified organizations;

5. To facilitate endeavors being made by different line offices, NGOs, ranchers associations and partnered foundations to fortify examination augmentation agriculturists linkages in the area and to advance joint effort and coordination between different State financed specialized divisions;
