AICTE Associate Professor Eligibility
Hello sir I am here as I want to know the eligibility criteria required for Associate Professor for Engineering & Technology as given by AICTE so will you please tell me about this??

The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) is the statutory body and a national-level council for technical education, under Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development. Established in November 1945 first as an advisory body and later on in 1987 given statutory status by an Act of Parliament, AICTE is responsible for proper planning and coordinated development of the technical education and management education system in India. The AICTE comprises ten bureaus, namely: -e-Governance (e-Gov) Bureau -Faculty Development (FD) Bureau -Undergraduate Education (UG) Bureau -Postgraduate Education and Research (PGER) Bureau -Quality Assurance (QA) Bureau -Planning and Co-ordination (PC) Bureau -Research and Institutional Development (RID) Bureau -Administration (Admin) Bureau -Finance (Fin) Bureau -Academic (Acad) Bureau Eligibility criteria required for Associate Professor for Engineering & Technology as given by AICTE BE/B.Tech & ME/ M.Tech in relevant branch with 1st class or equivalent either in BE/B.Tech or ME/M.Tech. OR BE/B.Tech & ME/ M.Tech in relevant branch with 1st class or equivalent either in BE/B.Tech or ME/M.Tech. Post PhD publications and guiding PhD students is highly desirable. Experience: Minimum of 5 years experience in teaching / research /industry of which 2 years post PhD experience is desirable. In case of Architecture, Professional Practice of 5 years as certified by the Council of Architecture shall also be considered valid.
