The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) New Delhi will conduct AIIMS MBBS 2017 on May 28 for admission MBBS seats in 7 AIIMS like institutions.

The application process for AIIMS MBBS 2017 had begun from January 24, 2017 for the eligible candidates to register for the test. The last date to fill the application forms was Thursday, February 23, 2017.

AIIMS MBBS Eligibility: Nationality

1. One must be of Indian origin.

2. One who belongs to Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) category should be registered under Section 7A of Indian Citizenship Act 1955 and need to submit their registration proof while applying for AIIMS MBBS 2017 entrance exam.

3. One belonging to foreign nationals’ category should be nominated by the Indian Government. One will not be required to minimum least 50% marks in aggregate of the subjects– Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English studied at intermediate examination or 12th board exam recognised by AIIMS Delhi. Moreover, such candidates should be eligible for pursuing the MBBS programme only at AIIMS New Delhi.

AIIMS MBBS eligibility: Educational qualification

1. One should have qualified 12th board or equivalent exam of 10+2 education system recognised by AIIMS Delhi.

2. One should have also studied Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as mandatory subjects in their 10+2 level.

3. In addition to the above conditions, one belonging to General and OBC categories should have secured a minimum of 60% marks in the aggregate of aforesaid subjects and those belonging to SC, ST and OPH categories should have obtained at least 50%.

AIIMS MBBS Eligibility: Age Criteria

1. One applying for AIIMS MBBS 2017 entrance exam should have completed a minimum of 17 years of age as on December 31, 2017.

2. Moreover, those born on or after January 2, 2001 will not be considered eligible to apply for AIIMS MBBS 2017 exam.
