Eligibility Candidates must have an MBBS degree for MD/MS and BDS degree for MDS from a recognized institution recognized by Medical Council of India/Dental Council of India Candidates must have completed the 12 months of rotating internship Candidate belonging to general category must have secured a minimum of 55% aggregate in MBBS, while it is 50% for candidates belonging to SC/ST categories Exam pattern Exam Time Morning Session – 09:00 AM to 12:30 PM Evening Session – 03:00 PM to 06:30 PM Exam Mode Computer Based Test i.e. Online mode Allocation of exam shift Random Language of Paper Bilingual - English or Hindi Types of questions Multiple choice and reason-assertion based Number of Questions 200 Distribution of Questions Physics – 60 Chemistry – 60 Biology (Zoology & Botany) – 60 General Knowledge - 20 Total – 200 Questions Marking Scheme For correct answer: +1 marks are given For incorrect answer: 1/3 (One third) mark is deducted Application fee Candidates of general category have to pay Rs. 1000 (plus applicable transaction charges) as an application fee. Those belong to SC/ST category, they have to submit Rs. 800/- (plus applicable transaction charges). OPH Candidates is exempted from payment of any Fee. Candidates can pay the fee from online mode (credit card/debit card/net banking). |
