All India Institutes of Medical Sciences, New Delhi (AIIMS) conducts AIIMS
PG 2016 national level entrance exam

It is for admission to Master of Surgery (MS) and Doctor of Medicine (MD)
programmes in various courses offered under Clinical and Basic Clinical
Sciences.
AIIMS PG 2016 entrance exam is conducted twice in a year, one for January
and other for July session.

For MD/MS:
Duration: 3 Hours (180 minutes)
Number of Questions: 200 Objective based multiple choice questions
Marking Scheme: 1 marks for each correct response
Negative Marking: 1/3rd of the marks will be deducted for each incorrect response
Syllabus: Exam will be based on the syllabus for MBBS programmes

For MDS:
Duration: 1 hours 30 minutes (90 minutes)
No. of questions: 90 Objective based multiple choice questions
Marking Scheme: 1 marks for each correct response
Negative Marking: 1/3rd of the marks will be deducted for each incorrect response
Syllabus: Exam will be based on the syllabus taught during BDS
