AIIMS PG is a national level entrance exam conducted by All India Institutes of Medical Sciences AIIMS, New Delhi for admission to Master of Surgery (MS) and Doctor of Medicine (MD) programmes in various courses offered under Clinical and Basic Clinical Sciences.

AIIMS PG exam Eligibility:

MBBS degree from a recognized university by Medical Council of India with 55% aggregate marks (50% for SC/ST category) for admission to MD/MS programmes

For July Session:

Candidate must have completed the required 12 Months rotating internship/practical training on or before July 30

AIIMS PG Exam Pattern:

For MD/MS:

Duration: 3 Hours (180 minutes)

Number of Questions: 200 Objective based multiple choice questions

Marking Scheme: 1 marks for each correct response

Negative Marking: 1/3rd of the marks will be deducted for each incorrect response

Syllabus: Exam will be based on the syllabus for MBBS programmes

For MDS:

Duration: 1 hours 30 minutes (90 minutes)

No. of questions: 90 Objective based multiple choice questions

Marking Scheme: 1 marks for each correct response

Negative Marking: 1/3rd of the marks will be deducted for each incorrect response

Syllabus: Exam will be based on the syllabus taught during BDS
