Re: DU AICTE Approval
All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) has at long last given its endorsement to 27 schools to run B.Tech courses under FYUP of Delhi University. It has given endorsement for the 2013-14 clump which had taken confirmation in the B.Tech courses, as a component of the Four-Year Undergraduate Program (FYUP). B.Tech programs in Computer Science, Electronics, Food Technology, Instrumentation Electronics and Polymer Science that were not a piece of UGC a year ago, were dispatched as a piece of FYUP. AICTE, the zenith consultative body directing specialized training in the nation, should offer endorsement to the schools. The understudies had brought their worries up in February with Smriti Irani, the HRD pastor, in regards to the non-endorsement of the courses. She, thusly, had coordinated the VC to do the needful. AICTE's dissatisfaction for B.Tech turned into the purpose of contention between the HRD service and DU VC Dinesh Singh. AICTE had given the universities a 'six-hour' due date to present an affirmation in April, that expressed that they would address the disappointment of workforce and foundation inside the following six months. |
