The Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation or the AMC, established in July 1950 under the Bombay Provincial Corporation Act, 1949, is responsible for the civic infrastructure and administration of the city of Ahmedabad.

Introducing E-governamne

Preparation of comprehensive City Development Strategy (CDS)
with an investment plan

Private sector participation in solid waste management, street cleaning, road
maintenance, etc.

Modernising Octroi collection system thereby preventing leakage in octroi
