I want to apply for Aligarh Muslim University Medical Entrance Exam for admission in MBBS course so can you provide me the details of the exam?

Admissions to MBBS and BDS programme in Aligrah Muslim University (AMU) will be done on the basis of NEET 2017 scores.

Aligarh Muslim University will not conduct a separate entrance exam.

Admissions to approximately 145 MBBS and 35 BDS seats will be done as per candidate’s scores in NEET 2017.

CBSE will conduct NEET 2017 on May 7, 2017, tentatively.

AMU MBBS Eligibility Criteria -

Candidate must have passed Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English individually in Class XII. Further, candidates must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks taken together in all subjects

Candidates belonging to SC/ST categories must have obtained a minimum of 40% marks in Class XII, while, it is 45% marks for OBC category candidates

Candidate must have completed 17 years of age as or on December 31, 2017

AMU MBBS Selection Procedure 2017

Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) will shortlist candidates appeared in NEET 2017 for MBBS and BDS programmes in AMU.

Candidates belonging to general categories have to obtain a minimum of 50 percentile in NEET 2017.

Those belonging to Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe (SC/ST) have to score at least 40 percentile in NEET 2017.
