Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main is the All India Common Entrance Test For admission in Under Graduation Engineering. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) conducts Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main Exam. The National Level Entrance Examination will be held on April 2, 2017 (offline mode) and April 8 and April 9, 2017 (online mode). JEE Main Eligibility Criteria Candidates should have qualified 12th standard (or equivalent) qualifying examination The applicants who are appearing for the 12th standard qualifying examination The General Category applicants should have scored at least 75% marks or be in the top 20 percentile in the qualifying examination of 12th standard. SC/ST applicants need to secure 65% marks. The applicants need to have taken at least five subjects in the 12th standard qualifying examination. If the applicant has qualified with only 4 subjects then he/she will not be considered eligible. Age: The applicants should have been born on or after October 1, 1992 (or be 25 years old) to be eligible for admission. The age criteria has been relaxed for the SC/ST/PwD categories by 5 years. The applicants of these categories should have been born on or after October 1, 1987 Number of Attempts: The applicants will be able to attempt JEE Main 3 times.
