The Associate Member of the Institution of Engineers (AMIE) is a professional certification given by Institution of Engineers (India). The qualification can be earned by passing Section A, Project Work, Laboratory experiments and Section B examination of the Institution. The Indian Ministry of Human Resource Development considers this qualification equivalent to a degree in engineering. AMIE Exam Scheme AIME exams are held twice a year, called Summer and Winter examinations. There are two sections: Section A - 3 papers Section B - 5 papers Each paper is of 3 hours and candidates can appear only limited number of papers at a time.
