I have complete my B.sc and now want to take admission in M.sc program at Andhra university, so I want to know that in which month Andhra university will start admission procedure for M.sc program in this year?

Andhra University Common Entrance Test (AUCET) is conducted by Andhra University, Visakhapatnam for admissions in M.Sc., M.A., M.Com., M.H.R.M., M.J.M.C., M.L.ISc., M.P.Ed., M.Ed., M.Tech, M.Sc 5-Year Integrated Course in Geology and M.A. 5-Year Integrated course in Economics

AUCET Eligibility Criteria

For PG Science courses-

Three-Year Bachelor Degree of 10+2+3 or 12+3 or 11+1+3 pattern, with the prescribed minimum percentage of marks

Candidates who acquired Bachelor Degree by Distance Education without 10+2+3 pattern are also eligible for admission

Candidates must be Bachelor Degrees of BA/B.Sc/ B.Com/ B.A.Litt and the respective Universities should recognise B.L from Universities other than AP as equivalent thereto

The requirement for admission into all Science and Engineering Courses offered by these universities is a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in Group Subjects (Part II) of the qualifying exam unless or otherwise specified. For SC & ST candidates, a minimum aggregate of 45% marks in-group subjects (Part II) is sufficient

AUCET Exam Pattern

Total number of questions will be 100 and candidates will get 90 minutes to solve those questions

Every question will contain four alternatives among which they need to mark the right answer

Candidates are required to mark the appropriate answer of questions in OMR sheet only

AUCET Syllabus

AUCET paper consists of 90 questions, which are three parts.

Part A contains 40 questions, Part B contains 30 questions and Part C contains 20 questions

Each correct answer carries one mark while every wrong answer will have a deducation of 1/4 mark
