The Anna University Sports Board conducts the smooth and efficient conduct of Zonal / Inter-Zonal tournaments which involves all the institutions under Anna University, the Anna University Sports Board is constituted with the Vice-Chancellor as President.
The members of the Board include Deans / Principals of Constituent and Affiliated Colleges, Faculty members, Physical Directors and Eminent Sports Persons

Sports included are:

Basketball (M & W)
Football (M & W)
Hockey
Volleyball (M & W)
Tennis (M & W)

Achievements of ASUB:

VOLLEYBALL WOMEN TEAM secured FIRST POSITION in the South Zone INTER-UNIVERSITY Volleyball tournament held at Acharya Nagarjuna University, Guntur..

TABLE TENNIS MEN TEAM secured FIRST POSITION in the SOUTH ZONE INTER-UNIVERSITY TABLE TENNIS tournament held at Kannur University, Kerala.

TABLE TENNIS WOMEN TEAM secured THIRD POSITION in the SOUTH ZONE INTER-UNIVERSITY TABLE TENNIS tournament held at Kannur University, Kerala..

In the ALL INDIA INTER UNIVERSITY ROWING CHAMPIONSHIP held at Punjabi University, Patiala, P.SANKAVI, I B.E Arch in MEASI Academy of Arch., Chennai won BRONZE MEDALS.

TENNIS MEN TEAM secured SECOND POSITION in the SOUTH ZONE INTER-UNIVERSITY TENNIS tournament held at Krishna University, Andhra Pradesh.
