I have cleared the EAMCET entrance exams of Andhra Pradesh for admission in medical course so tell me the date of Counseling of EAMCET Medical exam and tell me the procedure of Counseling and the seat allotment?

The counselling of Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (AP EAMCET Medical) will be conducted for admission to MBBS & BDS courses in the state of Andhra Pradesh.


AP EAMCET Medical Counselling Eligibility:
One should be an Indian National or Person of Indian Origin (PIO) / Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) Card Holder and should satisfy the Local or Non-local status in Andhra Pradesh (Residence requirement) as laid down in Andhra Pradesh Education Institutions (Regulations of Admissions) Order, 1974.

One should have completed 17 years of age.

Eligibility to Participate in AP EAMCET Medical Counselling:

One should have passed Intermediate/10+2 or its equivalent exam with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany, Zoology) / Biotechnology and English

• OC candidates should obtain minimum 50% marks in science subjects
• BC/SC/ST candidates should obtain minimum 40% marks in science subjects
• OC PH candidates should obtain minimum 45% marks in science subjects

One has to Qualified in AP EAMCET Medical
• OC candidates should secure minimum 50% marks in AP EAMCET Medical
• BC/SC/ST candidates should secure minimum 40% marks in entrance exam
• OC PH candidates should secure minimum 45% marks in entrance exam

AP EAMCET Medical Counselling Fee:
The counselling fee for OC/BC candidates is Rs.1500 and Rs. 800 for SC/ST category candidates.

AP EAMCET Medical Counselling Registration –
One has to register at the registration counter when the AP EAMCET Medical rank numbers will be called.

Documents Verification during AP EAMCET Medical Counselling –
One after registration has to submit all the Original Certificates for verification of the all original certificates for confirmation of their Name, Hall Ticket Number, Rank Number, University Area, Sex etc.
A receipt is issued for the certificates submitted by one for verification.
The certificates will be sent to the Principal of the College to which one is selected and allotted

The reserved category candidate i.e. BC / SC / ST will have to verify the social status after verification of other original certificates.

It must be noted that one registered shall not be allowed leave the AP EAMCET Medical 2016 Counselling hall until the process of selection completes.

If one fails to submit the certificates for verification, will not be permitted for seat selection

The reserved Category Candidates i.e., BC, SC & ST have to get verified their social status by the officers of the respective Departmental officers present at the counselling hall.

The Candidates are informed to get their certificates verified in the order of Merit when their Rank Number is called. The Candidates have to bring the original certificate and two sets of Xerox copies as mentioned in the Regulations.

The SC and ST Candidates shall submit the Income Certificate issued by the competent authority.
