Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission is shortened as APPSC. It had established in 1956. It had merged Andhra and Hyderabad public service commission into it. It conducts examinations for group exams and recruit candidates to various services. APPSC Observer vacancy details: Eligibility Criteria: The educational qualification needed by the applicants is the Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering for Observer (Engineers) and Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Chemistry for observers (Non-engineering). Age Limit: As on July 01, 2016 The age of the candidate must fall between 18 years to 34 years. The age relaxation is provided to ST/SC candidates for 5 years, PWD candidates for 10 years, N.C.C. for 3 years, Ex-service man for 3 year. There are other age relaxations too. In order to access complete details go through the official notification. Pay Scale: Pay scale for both the engineering and non-engineering post is Rs. 13660 – 38570/-. APPSC also recruit candidates on following posts. Statistical Officers Senior Stenographers Exam pattern: Group 1 Prelims Pattern/Structure The exam consists of one objective type paper. This paper consists total 150 marks with 2 ½ hours duration Minimum qualifying marks will be given for reservation candidates as per the rules. Prelims contains General Studies and Mental Ability Question of 150 and 150 Marks in duration of 2 hrs 30 minutes Group I Mains Exam Pattern/Structure Main exam contains 5 papers in conventional type & is of degree level syllabus All the question papers except General English may be answered either in English or Telugu or Urdu chosen by the candidate. Each papers consists 150 marks Duration is 3 hours for each paper Minimum qualifying marks will be given for reservation candidates as per the rules Compulsory Paper (English) and Conventional-150- 3 Hours and 5 Conventional papers each contain 150 marks and each 3 hours duration. Total-750 Marks; For Interview-75 Marks; Grand Total- 825 Marks |
