Army entrance examination is Combined Defence Services Examination which is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission. Following are the details of this examination:

Tentative Schedule: (Examination held twice a year)
Notification of Examination August and March
Conduct of Examination February and August

Eligibility for army:
The applicant should hold Degree of a recognized University or equivalent with good academic record.
