Agricultural Scientist Recruitment Board Combined Agricultural Research Services and National Eligibility Test ( ASRB Combined ARS and NET (Prel.) Exam) is conducted by The Agriculture Scientist Recruitment Board (ASRB) to decide the eligibility for Lecturers/Assistant professors by the State Agriculture Universities (SAUs)/ Agricultural Universities (AUs) and to decide the eligible candidates for ARS (Main) Examination.


Eligibility Criteria for ARS 2016

-Candidates should have completed Master’s degree in relevant discipline on or before 21st February, 2017.

-Candidates who completed their Master’s degree from a foreign university they need to attach recognition of degree and certificate of excellence provided by the Government of India / University Grants Commission or any other associated Government of India / Department or Agency.

-Candidates appearing in the qualifying exam can also apply, subject of producing passing proof on or before 21st February, 2017.

-Age Limit: Minimum- 21 years and Maximum-32 years


Eligibility Criteria for NET 2016

-Have Master’s degree or its equivalent in the relevant discipline and specialization. Required degree should have completed on or before 21st February, 2017.

-Candidates having qualifying degree from a foreign university are eligible to apply but their degree must be recognized by the Government of India.

-Age Limit:
21 years as on 1st August, 2016. No upper age limit has specified by the respective authority.



Selection Process:

Selection will be based on marks obtained in entrance exam and candidate’s performance in Interview.

-Online registration will commence from: October, 2016

-End Date of Online Registration: November, 2016

-ARS NET 2016 Exam Date: December, 2016

-Admit card for ARS 2016 Main Exam gets issued: February, 2017

-ARS 2016 Main exam date: February, 2017

-Viva Voce and personal interview will be conducted: March, 2017

-Publication of result: July, 2017

-Eligibility certificate will be issued: August, 2017
