Assam Joint Admission Test JAT is conducted by the Director of Technical Education, Assam for admission in Under Graduate Professional courses.

Assam JAT Tentative Dates 2018-

Date for online exam form submission : April 2017
Last date of online application submission : April 2017
Last date for availing the receipt of exam fee : April 2017
Date for issuing Admit Card : May 2017
Date for written exam : May 2017
Result Declaration : June 2017

Eligibility criteria-

Candidates must pass 10+2 Examination from Assam Higher Sec Education Council

The qualifying examination can be passed from any other equivalent board

The subjects passed in the qualifying examination are Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics and English

The general students need minimum 50% marks

The ST/SC students need minimum 45% marks

Age limit:-

Student should have above 17 years and below 21 year.

Application fee:

For MBBS/BDS/BAMS Courses – Rs. 1140.00

For Engineering Degree Courses- Rs. 1140.00

For Both MBBS/BDS/BAMS and Engineering Courses- Rs. 1440.00

The aspirants are to deposit the prescribed amount along with a bank charge of Rs. 60/- in cash at any branch of State Bank of India by using bank challan generated after the completion of online submission of examination form.

Application fee, once paid, is not refundable.

Assam JAT Exam Pattern:

The question paper in Assam JAT is divided in four parts as given below.

Mathematics: 100 Marks
Physics: 100 Marks
Chemistry: 100 Marks
Biology: 100 Marks

The duration of exam is of 3 hours.
