Assam Higher Secondary Teachers Eligibility Test (Assam HS TET) Exam is conducted by the Government of Assam for those who plan to be teachers in highier secondary school in Assam.

HS TET Assam Eligibility Criteria

For Post-Graduate Teachers in Secondary Or Senior Secondary Schools –

Masters degree (MA/M.Sc./M.Com) with minimum 50% marks in relevant subject with B.T./B.Ed degree from any recognized University.

They must have Masters Degree in Arts / Science / Commerce in the marks in aggregate 50% with B.T/B. Ed. from a recognized University.

Age limit-

Maximum Age 38 years (Age relaxation is applicable as 5 years for SC/ST candidates)

HS TET Assam Exam Pattern

The TET conducted by the Higher Secondary Schools in Assam Or respective examination board as directed by the Government of Assam.

All the questions will be Multiple Choice Questions.

One questions carrying one mark.

Total Marks for the exam is about 200.

There will be no negative marking for wrong answers..

Qualifying Marks

A candidate who scores 60% or more in the TET examination will be considered as TET pass.

Candidates belonging to SC / ST / SEBC / OBC / Physically Handicapped securing scores 55% may be considered as TET pass.
