I want to know the means of AUCET Exam so can you tell me? Also provide me the details of the exam?

AUCET Exam means Andhra University Common Entrance Test.

Andhra University Common Entrance Test (AUCET) is conducted by Andhra University, Visakhapatnam for admission into various Science, Arts, Engineering and Law Courses offered in Campus Colleges of Andhra University (AU), Visakhapatnam, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University (BRAU), Srikakulam, P.G. Centres, and Colleges affiliated to AU & BRAU offering P.G.Courses.

AUCET Eligibility:-

For admission in PG Arts and Science courses -

Three year Bachelor Degree of 10+2+3 or 12+3 or 1 1+1+3 pattern, with the prescribed minimum percentage of marks, unless otherwise specified.

Candidates who acquired Bachelor Degree by Distance Education without 10+2+3 pattern are also eligible for admission into P.G. Courses, subject to submission of residence certificate.

Bachelor Degrees of B.A./B.Sc./B.Com./B.A.Litt. and B.L. from Universities other than AP should be recognised by the respective University as equivalent thereto.

A minimum aggregate of 50% marks in Group Subjects (Part II) of the qualifying examination unless or otherwise specified.

For SC and ST candidates, a minimum aggregate of 45% marks in group subjects (Part II) is sufficient.

For Arts, Commerce and Law courses -

A pass in the appropriate qualifying degree, except for M.Sc. Anthropology for which the requirement is a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in group subjects (Part-II) in the qualifying examination and for SC& ST candidates, a minimum aggregate of 45% marks in the group subjects.

The requirement for M.Ed course is a pass with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks (45% for SC & ST Candidates).

Submission of Online Application : 08.03.2017 onwards

Last date for Submission -

Without Late Fee : 15.04.2017

With Late Fee of Rs.1,000/- : 25.04.2017

AUCET Date: - 06-05-2017 to 08-05-2017 (Tentative)

Application Fees-

Application Registration and Processing Fee of Rs.600/- (Rs.500/ - for SC/ST/PHC) may be paid through SBI I-Collect / Andhra Bank(billdesk)/ Payment Gateway(credit/debit card).
