Secretary, Kimbery Taylor, J.D. (2012)
Taylorsville, NC

Kimberly Taylor has served as a Vice President of the North Carolina Bar Association, as chair of the education committee of the N.C. Association of District Court Judges and as chair of the Rural Courts Commission.

She also serves on the Legislative, Grievance, Authorized Practice of Law and Distinguished Service Committees of the N.C. State Bar. Ms. Taylorand her husband Timothy Byrd have 5 children - their middle son, Jarrett, was diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder at age 3.

Jane Johnson (2007)

New York, NY

Jane Johnson attended her first ARI Conference in 2001 as a mother and liked it so much that she went back every year thereafter.

Jane feels deeply indebted to ARI, and now that her three children are college aged, she has extra time on her hands. Jane moderates the four ARI support listservs, helps organize the think tanks and conferences, and helps edit the ARI e-newsletter and the conference manuals.

Chariman of the Board, Paul Hardy, MD (2013)
Petersborough, NH

Dr. Hardy received his medical degree from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry, Rochester, New York.

After completing a Medical Internship at the Baylor College of Medicine, Methodist Hospital, in Houston, Texas, he returned to the University of Rochester.

He completed a residency in Neurology at Strong Memorial Hospital.

In 1976 he became a Joseph P. Kennedy, Jr. Fellow in Medical Ethics at Harvard University.

Treasurer, Chris Flynn (2015)
Dublin, NH

Chris Flynn joined Pentagon Federal Credit Union (PenFed) in 2001, and served as the Senior Executive Vice President.

In his tenure the credit union grew from $3.5 billion to over $18 billion.

Flynn retired in March 2014 and lectured on financial education throughout the military community, various universities and received commendations from members of Congress and the office of White House Communications.

His neice has a child diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder.

Genevieve Athens (2012)

Lewisville, NC

Genevieve Athens is the parent of an adult daughter with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and is the Principal of a private practice launched in 2012, Autism Lifespan Coach.

Prior to the launch of Autism Lifespan Coach, Ms. Athens was the Executive Director of the Autism Society of Oregon for 9 years.

In September, 2015, she started a social club in Winston Salem for adults with Developmental Disabilities. Ms. Athens has an MBA with a focus on International Marketing from the Thunderbird School of International Management in Arizona.
