Axlr8r Formula Racing is the formula student team of Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.

They are a family of 20 college students brought together by their passion for technology, innovation and creativity and work with the aim of fabricating an open wheel race car with focus on good design, reliability and performance.

Formula Student-

Cars made by us go for a run at Formula Student/ Formula SAE competitions. Formula student and Formula SAE are student design competitions organised by SAE international.

Around 500 universities from all over the world participate every year in formula student events held in 8 different countries around the world and it can be easily considered to be the biggest international student competition.

The concept behind Formula SAE is that a fictional manufacturing company has contracted a design team to develop a small Formula-style race car.

Team Structure

Technical team - technical team aims at:

Designing and producing a new race car every year.
Bringing out new and innovative ideas.
To justify their product at design events at the competition.

Operations team – operations team is responsible for:

Presenting the car at static events (cost report and business logic case).
Gathering funds for manufacturing cars.
Organising various promotional events
