Azusa pacific University PPS credential
I heard that the master's degree coupled with the Pupil Personnel Services Credential in School Counseling significantly increases one's marketability of the Azusa pacific University,. so will you please tell me what is the meaning of the Pupil Personnel Services Credential at the Azusa pacific University? is it a Prerequisite?

PPS: School Counseling Credential The PPS credential program offered by Department of School Counselling and School Psychology is designed for one who has already earned a Master of Arts in Education: Educational Psychology and PPS Credential in School Psychology. Prerequisite: Master of Arts in Education: Educational Psychology and Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) Credential in School Psychology A required transcript evaluation of students’ current PPS school psychology courses will determine which courses will count toward the PPS: School Counselling Credential. Additional Requirements 1. One must pass a Praxis exam to demonstrate their competence in school counselling prior to completion of the program. 2. One prepares a Graduate Research Project EDCO 592 which includes a formal research paper. The Graduate Research Project content summarizes a topic that the student chooses to study in depth. 3. One admitted to the Master of Arts in Education: Educational Counselling program are required to submit a copy of the California Certificate of Clearance (COC) or another form of clearance, such as a valid and current credential for teaching, counselling, school psychology, and/or nursing. The law requires Azusa Pacific University to keep these records on file while one is in attendance at APU. 4. One must pass the California Basic Educational Skills Test (CBEST) prior to admission to the educational counselling program with an embedded school counselling credential. 5.
