Hey, you should do B.Tech in the same discipline in which you done diploma course. As if you done diploma in civil engineering should go for B.E. in Civil or if you done diploma in Mechanical engineering should go for B.E. in Mechanical engineering.

Also if you go in same stream you can get entry direct in 2nd year of the degree course through lateral entry scheme .
