Can you tell me about the structure of B Ed program as offered by EFLU or English and Foreign Languages University, Hyderabad? The English and Foreign Languages University, Hyderabad, was founded in 1958 as the Central Institute of English (CIE). Its vision is to provide instructional, research and extension facilities in the teaching of English and Foreign Languages and Literatures in India and o take appropriate measures for interdisciplinary studies and research in literary and cultural studies, and to develop critical intercultural understanding of civilizations. B.Ed. English is designed with applied disciplinary and practicum based courses. One study five applied disciplinary courses and one practicum based course in each semester. All the courses are designed on the basis of cooperative and collaborative learning principles. One is provided with project based learning experiences. One is also involved in a variety of activities such as participation in cultural activities, co-curricular activities, and developing teaching aids.
