Re: Bachelor of Automotive Engineering
Yes buddy HAN University of Applied Science also conduct Bachelor of Automotive Engineering for that I will get the information so that you can have idea. Here is the eligibility criteria to apply for the program You need to have completed your secondary education at a level similar to Dutch secondary education. As the course is taught in English, a sufficient level of fluency in English is needed as well. Here is the program structure 1st year To get an introduction to the field of automotive engineering To learn about the specializations offered by HAN Automotive Institute To get a taste of the professional field. 2nd year The two main topics in the 2nd year are ‘Design of an automotive engineering structure’ (semester 1) and ‘Simulation and testing of a design’ (semester 2). These cover the following core materials: Control engineering Electrical systems Materials science & strength of materials Production Combustion engines Connection technology The practicals that also form an important part of the 1st year programme include: Statistics Diesel & LPG Control engineering EOBD DC motors Test Engineering 3rd year The 3rd year subjects focus on the professional tasks of the designer/tester, more specifically the automotive test engineer. A test engineer can design, carry out and report on investigations independently and in a group context, and formulate and quantify proposals for improvement based on simulations. Testing In the subject Testing, you will learn about the general approach to testing. A test engineer needs general insight into the dynamic behaviour of systems. In the various theoretical subjects, you will learn about noise and vibration comfort, road holding and handling of vehicles As well as performance and emission measurements. Alongside theoretical model making and simulation, you will carry out practical tests. Other subjects in the 3rd year You will also study Automotive Electronics, which focuses on the necessary sensors, actuators and control and regulation units in vehicles and how they communicate. You will learn about fault analysis (EOBD) and cover mathematics topics relevant for your field. 4th year During your 4th year you will complete a minor and a work placement.
