BAMU FE Syllabus
I am studying in the BAMU. I have given exams of First Year Engineering [F.E.] Syllabus and I got passed in this exam. So Now I want syllabus of Second Year Engineering [F.E.] Syllabus. Pls give me detailed syllabus with list of some best books for the final year Program. Where I can get this syllabus in PDF or DOCX mode, tell me? The Syllabus of the Engineering Mathematics I of the First Year Engineering of the Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University is given below Engineering Mathematics I Unit 1: Complex Numbers With Applications:Representation of a complex number in Cartesian & Polar coordinate systems, Argand’s diagram, De’Moivre’s Theorem, circular and inverse circular functions, hyperbolic and inverse hyperbolic functions, Separation into Real and Imaginary parts of circular and hyperbolic functions, logarithm of complex numbers. Unit 2: Successive differentiation :Nth derivative of standard functions, Taylor’s & Maclaurin’s theorem, expansion of functions using i) standard series ii) method of differentiation & integration. Indeterminate forms. Convergence of power series using Ratio Test, Comparison Test, Cauchy’s nth root Test Unit 3: Ordinary Differential Equations:, Exact differential equation, linear differential equation, reducible to linear differential equation. Applications of Ordinary Differential Equations to i) Electrical Engineering, ii) Mechanics, iii) Orthogonal trajectories. (6 Hours) Unit 4: Curve Tracing and Rectification: Tracing of curves in Cartesian (explicit type), Parametric & Polar form, Rectification of Cartesian, Parametric and Polar curves. Unit 5: Partial Differentiation:Partial Derivatives, Total Differentiation, Euler's Theorem on Homogeneous bFunctions, Change of Independent Variables. Unit 6: Applicationsof Partial Differentiation: Jacobian, chain rule, Maxima and Minima of Functions of two variables, Lagrange's method of undetermined multipliers.
