Bangalore University is a public state university located in city of Bangalore in the state of Karnataka. The university is one of the oldest in India. It was established in 1886.

Eligibility-

Candidates who have cleared the entrance exams UGC/UGC-CSIR JRF Test / NET/ SLET/ SET/ GATE are eligible to apply and not required to appear for the entrance examination.

Master's degree in relevant discipline with minimum 55 percent marks or equivalent from a recognised institute

Selection Procedure-

The entrance test paper is of total 100 marks with multiple choice questions of one mark each.

Duration of the test will be 120 minutes.

Last date for the submission of application forms- first week of October, 2015

Entrance test will be held- last week of October, 2015

Entrance Test-

Maximum marks for Entrance Test: 100.

Nature of questions: Multiple choice questions of one mark each.

Syllabus for the Entrance Test: Research Methodology and / or cognate/ core subjects of the P. G. courses.

Duration of Entrance Test: 120 minutes.
