Bank of Baroda, a state-owned banking and financial service company, conducts the Probationary Officer exam for the recruitment of officers in Junior Management Grade.

Graduates with an economic bent of mind should clear the BOB Manipal PO exam and will then undergo a 9-month Post Graduate Certificate in Banking and Finance course in Baroda Manipal School of Banking.

There is no work experience required to join BOB as a PO

Eligibility for BOB PO:

Educational Qualifications: Must be a Degree holder (preferably graduate) in any discipline from any university recognised by Central Government. Candidates should have scored at least 55% marks. There is relaxation in marks for SC/ST candidates. They need to score at least 50% marks.

Bank of Baroda BOB Manipal PO Job Profile

During probation period you will be subjected to rigorous training and will be trained to get the practical knowledge in the banking industry like

Finance, accounting, marketing, billing as well as investment.
Learning nitty gritties of General Banking.
Opening of new accounts, Doing deposits, cash management etc.
Loan Processing
Issuing ATM cards, cheque books, demand drafts etc

After successful completion of the probation period, you will be posted in any bank branch as an Assistant Bank Manager to handle works on daily customer transactions, viz.

Marketing of New Schemes.
Bringing New Business.
Solving the grievances of customers coming in the bank.
Any other task bestowed by the bank time to time.
