Bhabha Atomic Research Center (BARC) a constituent Unit under the Department of Atomic Energy is a multidisciplinary association, seeking after far reaching innovative work programs for tackling atomic vitality and furthermore its usage for the advantage of the general public. These R and D endeavors are amassed in the fields of atomic sciences, building and innovation, fundamental sciences and associated fields and intended for misuse of nuclear vitality for control era and use of radiation innovation in the ranges of farming, medicinal services and industry.

The Center is sorted out into different Groups and Divisions/Sections and co-appointment of its exercises is accomplished through the Group Boards, Trombay Scientific Committee and the Trombay Council. Executive is the Head of the Unit.

The exercises of the Center are financed by the Central Government through the budgetary allotments. The use is comprehensively sorted into design, non-design as likewise income and capital.

A rundown of all officers and representatives of the Center with their assignments/grades is added. Being a Central Govt. association, the Center takes after sizes of pay informed by the Central government.
