The Master of Philosophy (M.Phil.) course in Geography is a one and half year programme

The Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) course is generally of five years duration

The department has state-of-art GIS laboratory, geomorphology - cum - remote sensing laboratory .

The GIS laboratory is fully equipped with printers, latest GIS, 20 computers, server, scanners, plotter, Remote Sensing

The GIS laboratory is fully equipped with statistical software like ArcGIS 10.2, ILWIS, IDRISI Andes, MapInfo 9.0, ERDAS 2014, WMS 8, SPSS.

There is a Map Library consisting of Survey of India topographic sheets on different scales
