Bachelor of Computer Applications (B.C.A.) program offered by SNDT (Shreemati Nathibai Damodar Thackersey) Women's University is of 3 years duration degree course. Eligibility One must have passed the Std. XII exam conducted by different Divisional Boards of the Maharashtra State with 45% marks (40% for one belonging to Reserved category) with the following subjects :- (from any stream). • English • Any one of the Modern Indian Languages or Modern Foreign Languages or any classical Language or Information Technology/ Any four subjects carrying 100 mark each. OR • English • Any one vocational subject carrying 200 marks • Any three subjects carrying 100 marks each OR One must have passed Std. XII exam with the Minimum Competency based vocational courses (MCVC) conducted by different Divisional Boards of the Maharashtra State. • English • Any one of the Modern Indian Languages or Modern Foreign Languages or any classical • Language or Information Technology • General Foundation Course. • Any one subject carrying 300 marks from among the Minimum Competency based vocational courses prescribed by the Higher Secondary School Certificate exam from time to time. OR One must have passed an exam of any other recognised Board or Body recognized as equivalent thereto. OR One must have passed any 3 year Government recognized Diploma programme. B.C.A Year II: • For one from same University - should have cleared or has ATKT as admissible in first year in the same subject • For one from another university - studied at least 2 courses of four credits each in I year in the same subject. Passed I year without ATKT. • Should have passed 3 years Govt./ D.T.E. recognized Diploma Course. B.C.A Year III: • For one from same University - should have cleared second year in the same subject or has passed with admissible ATKT • For one from another university – should have completed at least six courses of 4 credits each or 24 credits in I and II year in the same subject. Passing in I and II year without ATKT. |
