Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination is a state level entrance exam conducted by Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board for admission to various UG courses in the field of Engineering, Medical, Agriculture and technology.


BCECE Exam Date 2016

1st Stage: 17.04.2016 (Sunday), 11.00 am to 01.15 pm.

2nd Stage: 15.05.2016 (Sunday)



Exam Pattern

The paper will be held in two phases i.e. Stage 1 and Stage 2.

Candidates who qualify the stage 1 only they can appear for the stage 2.

Both stages question paper will be asked in English language.


BCECE Stage 1

There will be four section in the exam i.e. from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology. All the questions will be of MCQ type having 4 options.

The total no. of question will be 200, i.e. 50 from each section.

The duration of the examination is 2 hours 15 min. The question paper will be of total 600 marks.

For each incorrect answer 1 marks will be deducted.

All candidates have to attempt physics and chemistry as compulsory sections, and Math and biology as optional as per their chosen field for engineering or medical.


BCECE Stage 2

The stage 2 will also contain four sections from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology, having 100 question in each subject and each subject carries 400 marks with +4 mark for correct answer and -1 for wrong answer.

-Online Registration closing date – 28.02.2016 (11.59 P.M.)

-Last date of payment through challan – 02.03.2016 (upto working hours of the bank)

-Last date of payment through Net Banking / Debit Card / Credit Card with final submission of the online Application Form of Registered candidate – 03.03.2016 (11.59 P.M.)

-Online Editing of Application Form – 06.03.2016 to 11.03.2016 (11.59 P.M.)

-The hard copy of the online submitted application form (Part-A & Part-B) along with paid Bank Challan & enclosures dispatched by Registered / Speed Post must reach at the specified address mentioned in para 4 (i) above latest by – 19.03.2016 (5.00 P.M.)

-Issue of Online Admit Card (1st Stage) – 3.4.2016

-Proposed date of Examination:

-Result for Stage-1 – 29th April 2016

-Admit Card for Stage-2 – 3rd May 2016
