The BCECE Board regulated the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination for the screening of the students to provide admissions in medical, engineering, agriculture and other courses offered by various colleges and institutions of Bihar state Qualification Eligibility • For MBBS, candidates must have passed the 12th or equivalent class with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as compulsory subjects. • One must have secured 45% marks (for general category) and 40% marks (for reserved category) in the 12th or equivalent exam. Domicile Eligibility • One must be an Indian citizen. • One should belong to Bihar state. • One’s parents must be a permanent residence of Bihar state. • If one’s parents belong from different state, but they are government employee of Bihar state. Other Eligibility • One should have completed 17 years age as on 31st December of the year of admission for agriculture and medical courses. • For admissions, candidates have to go through the medical test. Candidate will be eligible for admission after clearing this test. Reservation One who belong to the Bihar state and have a valid caste certificate of Bihar state they will get reservation in the college. Category Reservation General 50% Scheduled Caste (SC) 16% Scheduled Tribe (ST) 1% Extremely Backward Class (EBC) 18% Backward Class (BC) 12% Reserved Category Girls (RCG) 3% Disabled Quota (DQ) 3% |
