I want to get the details of Medical Entrance Exam of Banaras Hindu University BHU so can you please provide me?

Institute of Medical Sciences, Banaras Hindu University (IMS BHU), will admit candidates for MBBS and BDS programmes on the basis of results of National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2017.

Admission at IMS BHU was conducted on the basis of NEET score.

Admissions to approximately 134 MBBS and BDS seats will be on the basis of 85% state quota seats.

The remaining admissions to 15% All India Quota seats will be done by Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).

BHU MBBS Eligibility Criteria 2017

12th Examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology from recognised University.

Candidate must also have completed 17 years of age

The upper age limit must be 25 years and candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC category have a relaxation of 5 years

BHU MBBS Selection Procedure

IMS BHU will shortlist candidates for admission, who appeared in NEET 2017, for MBBS and BDS programmes in BHU.

Candidates securing the requisite percentile in NEET 2017 are eligible for BHU MBBS BDS 2017 admission.

Those belonging to general categories are required to score a minimum of 50 percentile in NEET 2017.

Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe (SC/ST) have to secure at least 40 percentile in NEET 2017.
