As per my knowledge the salary of a fresh competent candidate in the biotech industry ranges between 2.5 to 7.5 LPA.

The highest paying MBA industry is that of the pharmaceutical, biotech and healthcare sector, averaging over US$100,000 plus substantial bonuses.

In North America and Western Europe, the construction/property (US$96,500), aerospace/defence (US$91,000), and finance (US$92,450) sectors to be amongst the highest paying industries for MBA graduates.

Salaries can start from anywhere between Rs. 8000 – Rs. 150000 – figures that only increase with time and experience.
