The objective of Ph. D. Programme of Birla Institute of Management Technology is to retain the current and develop the emerging scholars for career in teaching, research, training and consulting.

Ph. D. Programme:
Fellow Programme in Management (FPM)
Executive Fellow Programme in Management (EFPM)

FPM / EFPM Eligibility Criteria
1. A master degree in any discipline with minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade point average recognized by AICTE /AIU with a Bachelor's degree / equivalent qualification after completing higher secondary schooling (10+2) (OR)

2. Five year integrated Masters Degree Programme in any discipline with minimum 55% marks, obtained after completing higher secondary schooling (10+2) or equivalent (OR)

3. A professional qualification like CA, ICWA, CS with minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade point average (OR)

4. 4 years / 8 semester bachelor degree (B.E./B.Tech./B. Arch. etc.) with minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade point average.

For EFPM, at least of 3 years of managerial / executive work experience with experience at middle levels would be required.

Selection Process for FPM / EFPM:

Applicant who have appeared/are appearing for the CAT/GMAT/GRE/GATE/UGC-JRF (two years from the date of the standard test and should be valid on the deadline of submission of the application form) /

BIMTECH Doctoral Admission Test will be short listed on the basis of the details in the application form and the scores of tests.

Only the short listed applicant will then be called for interviews.

A written test for eligible applicants will be conducted. Those who qualify will be called for an interview.
