BITSAT entrance exam is conducted by the Birla Institute of Technology & Science, the BITS HD Admission Test is the entrance tests for admissions to the M.E programmes offered at the various campuses of BITs.

The online Application for the BITS HD Admission Test will be available tentatively in April 2016.

Selection Procedure: Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their scores in the BITS HD Admission Test.

Application Fees: Rs.2200

Exam Pattern:
The exam will have two parts with 3 marks for each correct andwer. Negative marking of 1 mark for every wrong answer will be levied.

Part 1: Duration of 60 minutes. Candidates have to answer 60 questions as mentioned below with each section consisting of 15 questions
Core Mathematics
Core Physics
English Language Skills & Principles of Management
Computer Programming

Part II: This part will be for 120 minutes and candidates have to answer 100 questions
It is a compulsory test for students based on the qualifying degree programme
Candidates who have applied for Software systems are exempt from this section
