hemisphere functions.

Block – III: Sensory Process
Some General Properties of senses; subliminal stimuli: The Visual sense, auditory
sense, the other senses. Consciousness – Meaning – Functions - Divided
Consciousness, Stages of sleep, Dreams, Meditation, Hypnosis.

Block – IV: Attention and Perception
Selective Attention; Physiological correlates of Attention - Internal influences on
Perception-Learning set, Motivation and Emotion, Cognitive styles, External Influences on
Perception - Figure Ground, Movement, Illusions, Perceptual Organisation - Constancy;
