Qualification

Bachelor of Engineering/Bachelor of Technology or equivalent Engineering degree in any of the following disciplines from a recognized engineering college/university:

Telecommunication,

Electronics,

Radio,

Computer,

Electrical.

Information Technology


Age limit

Applicants of the JTOs (Telecom) exam must not be less than 21 years when
they submit the admission form. The upper age limit is 30 years. But this is
relaxable in some cases. They are:

Government servants – up to 5 years

BSNL employees – up to 5 years

Applicants of the SC and ST tribes – up to 5 years


Applicants of the OBC category – up to 3 years

Applicants of the PH General Category – up to 10 years [SC/ST: 15 years and
OBC: 13 years
