I want to participate in the CET examination of BVP so Can you provide me the details of Bharati Vidyapeeth University CET and B CAT examination? Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University in Pune conducts Common Entrance Test for UG engineering courses. B Tech in Chemical B Tech in Civil B Tech in Computer B Tech in Electrical B Tech in Electronics B Tech in Electronics & Telecommunication B Tech in Information Technology B Tech in Mechanical B Tech in Production B Tech in Bio Medical Eligibility: Those candidates who can fulfill the admission criteria in the B Tech courses can participate in the Common Entrance Test. You need to have passed the Higher Secondary Cetifcaite examination or Indian School Certificate Examination or any other examination that is equal to 10+2 or HSC examination of any recognized Board or University. You should have passed the examination of 10+2 with English, Physics and mathematics as a compulsory subject along with any one of the subject as an optional subject (Chemistry, Bio Technology, Computer Science and Biology). The marks of Physics, Mathematics and optional subject should be 50% for general candidates and for SC/ST it is 45% for getting admitted in the course. The candidates who are looking for the results of the final qualifying examination can also apply for the examination. The mark sheet of the examination should be provided at the time of counseling. Bharati Vidyapeeth University Common Entrance Test Dates The application forms will be available from 1st week of April 2013 and you could apply 2nd week of May 2013. The examination will be given on last week of May 2013. The results of the examination will be declared on 3rd week of June 2013. The counseling dates can be allocated in this manner from 1st to 3rd week of July 2013 for regular category and for the management category it will be in the 2nd week of July 2013. The classes of the University will commence on 3rd or 4th week of July 2013. Test Centers: Allahabad Chandigarh Indore Jaipur Lucknow Varanasi Pune New Delhi Navi Mumbai Vadodara Hyderabad Banglore Application Submission Procedure: You can submit application through online or offline mode. The admission forms will be made available from the University admission office and the cost of application fee is s 1600/-. For online application submission you can use the official web portal of CET examination (bharatividyapeethuniversity.net/). The window will function only at the time of admission and mean while you cannot use the web portal. Instructions for filling the application form: You should avoid over writing, cutting, erasing on the form. Blue or Black Ink pen should be used for filling the application form Fill the form in block letters only Squares provided for writing alphabets or number should not touch the edge of the square. If any wrong entries seen the application will be rejected. The names mentioned in the application be same as the name provided in the documents submitting for verification. If the number of a date or month is a single digit then it should be prefixed by Zero. The photo affixed in the application form should be pasted and not pinned and the photo should be attested by the Principal or Head of the Institution or by a gazette officer. The declaration of the application should be signed by the candidate Confirmations by ticking are given in the application for selecting category, examination etc. Use purposefully The application form along with the Rs 1600/-fee if submitted directly by the person or in the form of demand draft drawn from any nationalized bank or Bharati Sahakari Bank Ltd payable at Pune, in favor of Registrar, Bharati Vidyapeeth University, Pune and send it to the address given. Incomplete application and application without demand draft ill not be accepted. Structure of Bharati Vidyapeeth University CET Multiple choice questions are asked for the examination from Mathematics section and Physics section. There will be 100 questions in each section. No negative marks will be provided for wrong answers. The examination will be of 150 minutes and the medium of instruction will be English.
