Can Final Year Students Apply for Ssc Junior Engineer
I am the student of final year of graduation degree and want to apply for the SSC Junior Engineer exam so please tell me the final year students can apply for the SSC Junior Engineer exam, give me the complete details about the eligibility criteria of it? As per my knowledge, a Final Year Student cannot apply for Staff Selection Commission (SSC) Junior Engineers (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Quantity Surveying and Contract) Examination. Eligibility Conditions: Nationality/Citizenship: One must be either: (a) a citizen of India, or (b) a subject of Nepal, or (c) a subject of Bhutan, or (d) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before the 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or (e) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania(Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India. Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (b), (c), (d) and (e) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India. Educational Qualification Jr. Engineer (CPWD) – One must have diploma/ degree in Civil/ Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university. Jr. Engineer, Department of posts – One must have three years full time diploma in Civil Engineering from an institution recognized by Central/ state government. Jr. Engineer, MES – One must have full time degree/ diploma in Civil/ Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university. One must also have minimum two years of work experience in planning, execution and maintenance inn the relevant discipline. Jr. Engineer (QS & C), MES – One should be passed in 12th standard with Building and Quantity surveying sub divisional -II from the institute of surveyors. One with degree/ diploma in Civil Engineering are also eligible for this post. Jr. Engineer in Central Water Commission – One must have Degree/ diploma in civil/ mechanical engineering. Jr. Engineer in Farrakka barrage Project – One must have Full time diploma/ degree in Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering. Jr. Engineer in Central Water Power Research Station – One must have 3 years full time diploma in Civil/ Electrical Engineering from a recognized university Jr. Engineer (Electrical), DTE of Quality Assurance Naval – One must have three years full time diploma in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering from any recognized institution. One must also have minimum 2 years of work experience in respective fields i.e. Either of the field quality assurance/ quality control/ production/ manufacturing & testing of switch gears, motor generators/ radar/ radio/ telecommunication equipment, network control system, software development & validation etc. including knowledge of various standard and their interpretation. Jr. Engineer (Mechanical), DTE of Quality Assurance Naval – One must have 3 years full time diploma in Mechanical Engineering. Minimum 2 years’ work experience in testing of marine engineering propulsion systems includes turbines, power generation equipment, hydraulic system, refrigeration, pumps values/ field quality assurance/ quality control/ production/ manufacturing etc. including knowledge of various standards and their interpretation. Age Limit (i) Not exceeding 30 years for Junior Engineer (Civil) and Junior Engineer (Electrical & Mechanical) in MES, Farakka Barrage Project, Border Road Organization, Central Water and Power Research Station, Directorate of Quality Assurance (Naval) & NTRO (ii) Up to 32 years for Junior Engineers (Civil & Mechanical) in CWC and CPWD Age Relaxation There is a relaxation in age in SSC JE for reserved categories as per govt. of India rules.
