Can We Use Calculators In Cat Exam
My friends and I preparing for the cat exam so there is a little bit confusion that can we use calculators in CAT exam or not and also tell me the pattern for the exam??

Well you can not use the physical calculators for the CAT exam . There may be on screen calculator provided for calculation in all sections in CAT The level of questions is not set hard from calculation point of view. If you know the strategy to solve the question, you will be able to solve without using the calculator faster rather than using the calculator CAT Exam Pattern Sections 3 – Quantitative Ability Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning Verbal and Reading Comprehension Number of Questions 100 Quantitative Ability – 34 Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning – 32 Verbal and Reading Comprehension – 34 Duration 180 minutes Sectional Duration 1 hour for each section Question Types Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), Non-MCQs Calculator Usage On Screen basic calculator will be provided Marking Scheme for Non-MCQs, +3 marks for ‘correct answer’ No marks(or negative marks) for ‘wrong or no attempt’. The scoring scheme for multiple-choice questions (MCQ's) is: +3 for correct answer -1 for incorrect answer No marks are given or deducted for un-attempted questions |
