Centre for Africana Studies at Central Connecticut State University’s mission is to develop and encourage the study and teaching about Africa, African Americans, and people of African descent throughout the Diaspora. Furthermore, to use Information Technology to link isolated African American communities in the United States, Africa and the Diaspora.

The International Area Studies Program offers a variety of Africa-related degrees:

BA & BS Major, International Studies, African Studies specialization
BA & BS Concentration in African Studies
MS Major in International Affairs with a specialization in African Studies
