Facilities Management at Central Connecticut State University is an integral component of Administrative Affairs. The management function is committed to binding the distinct parts of the department programs into a cohesive entity within the University.

Facilities Management is devoted to ensuring that the planning, design, construction, operation, and maintenance of all facilities and grounds support the academic and administrative needs of the University.

Its mission encompasses the University Master Plan, the 2020 Program, Climate Action Plan and the University's Strategic Plan. It is committed to building and maintaining a safe, pleasant, and wholesome environment which meets the needs and expectations of our entire campus community.


Willard-DiLoreto Renovation

Governor Dannel P. Malloy and Central Connecticut State University’s President Zulma Toro joined CSCU President Mark Ojakian and DAS Deputy Commissioner Pasquale Salemi for the ground breaking of the Willard-DiLoreto renovation and expansion project on Wed., November 9 2016.

The $62 million project involved gutting and renovating two, 50-year-old adjacent buildings and adding a 30,000 square foot addition connecting the two buildings on all four floors.

Technology upgrades, HVAC improvements and an ADA accessible elevator was installed. The new section added some 20 classrooms and several offices while creating an atrium for use as common space.

The completed the building provide a “one-stop shop” for student services, including registration, financial aid, bursar’s office and a range of student support services such as Student Wellness Services and The Learning Center, providing students with seamless access to all the services and support that students need for academic success.

The project is part of the CSUS 2020 long-term capital improvement initiative.
