CDAC CAT is a Common admission test for admission in various post graduate diploma courses in Information and Communication Technology and allied disciplines.

C-DAC CAT Eligibility

B.E, B.Tech, 4 years B.Sc Engg., AMIE, AIETE, DoEACC B level from one of these areas Electronics/ Electrical/ Computer Science Engineering.

MCA/ M.Sc. Engg and M.Sc. with CS, IT, EE, Electronics, Instrumentation are also eligible

For PG Diploma in Healthcare Informatics, PG Diploma in Geo Informatics, PG Diploma Automation SCADA systems-

PG in Maths or allied areas such as Statistics, Applied Maths and also PG in Physics or Computational Sciences/ Post Graduation in Life Sciences/ Chemistry or Graduates with minimum 4 years in Medicinal, Biomedical or Pharmaceutical Sciences are also eligible.

Candidates applying for all courses need to have 50% of aggregate marks in their graduation.

Age Limit –

Candidates should be above 21 years of age.

C-DAC CAT Registration Fees –

Applicants of CDAC CAT 2016 have to pay registration fees of 1100/- if applying for course in case of two courses they need to pay 1200/-.

Registration fees can be paid in cash at any of the C-DAC centres or C-DAC’s Affiliated Training Centres.

Exam pattern-

CDAC CAT consists of three sections and each section will be given time duration of 1 hour.

Each section will have 50 marks

Each question carries 3 marks

There is a negative marking of 1 marks for wrong ans.
