The Union Public Service Commission is Conducts the examination for the Central Armed Police Force (CAPF) for the Assistant Commandants (AC) Group A in the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) viz Border Security Force (BSF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) and Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP).

Exam Pattern:

The written examination will be comprised of two papers as follows:

General Ability and Intelligence: The paper will be objective based carrying multiple choice questions. The question paper will be bilingual – English and Hindi. Maximum marks – 250 marks

General Studies, Essay and Comprehension: Here, candidates will have the option of writing the Essay Component in English/Hindi, but the medium of Precise Writing, Comprehension and other language skills will be English only. Maximum marks – 200 marks.
