I am providing you with the Central Excise Tariff Act of 1985 for your reference. Go through it. BE it enacted by Parliament in the Thirty-sixth Year of the Republic of India as follows:-
1. Short title, extent and commencement :-
(1) This Act may be called the Central Excise Tariff Act, 1985.
(2) It extends to the whole of India.1
(3) It shall come into force on such date2 as the Central Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint. For the rest of the details you can freely download the pdf file provided.
