New India Manthan - Sankalp Se Siddhi
On 26th August 2017, KVK North 24 Paragnas (Nilganj) organized a programme on “New India ManthanSankalp Se Siddhi” to commemorate 75th anniversary of 'Quit India Movement' for making a New India by 2022 as envisioned by Hon'ble Prime Minister of India.

Detials of the Event

During the program, Dr Jiban Mitra, Director of ICAR-CRIJAF in his welcome address highlighted the objective of Sankalp Se Siddhi programme.

All farmers and guests present in this programme taken Sakalp Se Siddhi Pledge. Dr. T.K. Datta, Head, NDRI (Regional Centre) of ICAR in his address informed about the various programme related to Swet Kranti and Nili Kranti for development of dairy and fisheries in the country being taken by the ICAR for doubling of farmer’s income.

Directors and heads of ICAR Institutes situated in Kolkata including scientists, faculty and state government & bank officials, press and media were present.

The function was attended by more than 300 farmers along with scientists & extension personnel.
